Dr. Cotant is passionate about Dentistry and fighting for the dentists in Wyoming and his patients. Friday he spent his time in front of a senate committee defending a bill for more transparency with insurance companies; for insurance companies to take care of the patients that pay for premiums and the dentists that provide the care. Kimmy, our financial coordinator, put together wonderful data for him to represent and spent a lot of time doing this. She spends hours every day fighting with insurance companies for patient benefits.

Leslie Gubbels, office manager from Platte River Family Dentistry, went with Dr. Cotant to help defend the insurance bill. Dr. Haskell was also available via zoom to help defend this bill. Dr. Tonso from Cheyenne defended another bill and is the current WYDA president. Everyone was fortunate enough to get a picture with the governor after their session.
